Team Success

Recently, Agatha van der Klaauw (Wellcome Trust Clinical Fellow) represented our team at the Academy of Medical Sciences Spring Meeting for Clinician Scientists in Training

Young doctors involved in research from all over the country travelled to London to present their work, an annual event that was particularly special this year as Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal also attended. Agatha presented some of our recent findings, notably how having a gene problem can influence the choices and types of food that we eat.

Agatha received many positive reactions to our studies and was awarded a silver medal in the Young Investigator Competition. So well done Agatha, let's go for gold next time!!
