GOOS website
The GOOS website goes live providing a forum for exchange of information and ideas and encouraging research into obesity
The GOOS team have been communicating their research findings to doctors and health care professionals for over 10 years. However, other than face-to-face contact, we have not had a way of communicating directly with patients and the public.
The development of the GOOS website has been led by Julia Keogh, Lead Research Nurse, whose commitment to find better ways to support GOOS patients has been the driving force behind this venture.
We will be relying on the input of patients, doctors and scientists so that the website can evolve into a tool for advancing and promoting research and for supporting the patients who are involved.
